I think you'll find that it is Slater himself doing that. Certainly Mullen has never been credited for the film.
Leads me onto my next recommendations.
The Search for Animal Chin and Questionable by Plan B. Both revealing a young Mullen to be the skating god that he is. Close attention will be required to clock the return flip. Utterly jaw-dropping.
