argh, i contacted KHS uk importers a while ago and they were having none of it. they need to start importing that frameset, flat crown forks and good geo at a reasonable price. I want.
They're available frame/forks only in the US. Just $200. Someone bring a batch in!

althought won't be as comfortable as the new Concor, the new one have more padding.
For £15 am I crying about that? Plus I'm 22, not 62. A little bit of extra padding shouldn't matter to me.

I got one a 1979 Concor from PJ, treated the leather, polished it up and it's like new but with a beautiful patina. Total cost £15.

what's the minimum number we could buy in a batch? i would be interested in a bulk buy maneuver. they look nice and so does the price!

Saddle win Donut! I'm on the fence re:the silver over black but Concor looks so much better than the Arione!!

+1 Sounds like an excellent plan for a good looking cheap bike!! I'd be in for it!

id be more worried by what lloks like fncked dropouts....
hammer and screwdriver or a hacksaw should sort out the cotter pin.

angle grinder+hammer+center punch=job done

Yeah, i saw the halfords ones. Wasn't sure if they were any good. Suppose anything is better than the pile of tools i have at the moment!

Make sure you get one with ball-bearing drawers.
The friction drawered boxes are crap and fuck up a lot quicker. -

random... but i am doing lejog fixed this summer
yipes.
this is the bike so far.... just plonked on spare bits from other bikes but it will be all black parts, colour coded mudguards fitted... randonneur bars i think and a suitable box for the front rack
got big tyres on there way (38 rear 42 front) and going to build some all black wheels, 32h i think... and going to double up the brake cabling for the front so i can run both left and right lever for the front disc.need to figure out the ideal gearing for 120 fixed miles a day, think i will run a 2 singlespeed gears on a singlespeed cassette hub and a cog fixed 16t, but two rings up front in case i get injured, maybe a 40 and a 44
:)

I've been considering doing lejog fixed.. Best of luck and keep us posted on how you do this summer as I'm sure your experiences will come in handy when it comes to trying it myself

yeah i think it's very doable - just how fast and how painful is the question!
really pleased with the bike so far, its an 853 CX frame 'customised' by sam at singular to let me run it fixed and with only one brake... gonna try and a fixed century on it this weekend -

I think those are the ones I sold him. They were no name ones really. I've got some beat up black wellgo bmx pedals you can have for a fiver. missing a couple of pins and one of the eyelets is broken. Not a problem if you're going to use powergrips and not attach reflectors.
This^
