I bought one from HubJub (paid £15 plus had it posted to Norway), then spotted something pretty darn similar in a local Clas Ohlsen (Its a swedish hardware store chain, which is very popular here in Norway). I think there is one in London. £9.99

saw a chain tool in a national bike shop/car parts chain store for £3.50 yesterday, not the best, but it will fix your chain while you wait for your tool bling.

I'd take a look at Ceeway, masses of tools and difficult to find stuff, just bought some good value gear from them.

thanks for that prav, went for that despite it being a little more expensive. they have them in stock and postage was reasonable. yesss.
spoke to clas ohlson and they just dont deliver. it'd cost me ten quid to get there.

I hate it when chain tools die, recently got this one from ebay not expecting much but it turns out to be quite good. Only use it on my 1/8 chain but works for all and has a spare pin hidden in the handle. Comfy too.

timely thread, I just broke my chain tool about 2 minutes ago. Will teach me for buying chain tools from Lidl. Might hold out for the Cracker though.

i just bought A SHIMANO ....WORKS FINE
I am reliably informed that this is the best chain tool:
but Hubjub are out of stock. Does anyone know what brand it is and/or where I can get one?
Any other or better recommendations? it must fit a 1/8" chain.
Thanks.
