I use sennheiser for my mp3 player but I use Bose for studio, both cans and monitors.
@ Erik. those[U][/U] Allesandro Music Series Pro look neat but heavy, I'm thinking rare earth magnets.
I have found B&W and Bang O to be quite good quality speakers too.
Bit off topic but Ive mostly used bose 901 for front of house and I think they are quite true to life.
Don't get me started on microphones though.
