use craigslist, it's english and it's easier. you can sublet rather than have to do this crazy through-an-agent bullshit. so that you know, in germany there are two prices... "cold" (no utilities) and "warm" (with utilities, usually heating, electricity and gas but ask what's included). if you get a flat through an agent, you normally have to pay the equivalent of one or two month's rent to the agent as a finder's fee. that sucks.
