I don't like much rock music, or non-african originated music but this is one of the few exceptions.

that trailer gave me goosebumps.. great track for it
he's a bit of talent is old spike (love that name..), was just watching his pharcyde video last night, my tiny mind completely blown by the whole reverse filming effort
-
• #16
it looks so good, trailer is amazing. I can already tell ill be going to see it a few times

Shot forwards, acted backwards with the song reversed and the artists miming backwards.
Play the film forwards and everything is reversed except the music that is now the right way round. Fucking tricky to do especially for a single continious shot. -

Yeah Right transformed skate vids..... i think Spike was pretty much the first person to bring cinematography to skateboarding.
im sure it had a big influence on MASH SF/Macaframa too. -

Course it did, You look at the Era Morford started filming in, then think of the crossover with early girl videos.
That girl intro's heavy, originally, camera was developed by the army for filming bombs, due to the high frame rate they're capable of, 100 per second, see the lakai intro also. Awesome, makes me feel like a kid excited by just seeing a skateboard again. -
• #21
awesome. this comes out just before my birthday!
-
• #22
that lakai video is cool, I love the M83 track
-
• #23
yes yes yes! i am so excited for this film!! eeeee!! i already have a home made max outift...but after seeing his awesome one in the trailer i think i need to make a few adjustments...maybe a new one...hehe. you can never have too many wolf suits, right?! i love this book so much, but my all time favourite page is where he is chasing the dog with a fork...mischief of one kind or another!
