Did I ever tell you the story of when I was nearly killed by a Kylie costume change.
[fetchs pipe and settles down in armchair by the fire with blanket over the knee]
Roadie set my gear up on stage with it half standing over a rapid riser (to shoot Kylie up onto the stage after her rapid costume changes) - he then thought it would be a good idea to test the riser - all my gear disappears into the stage and is pretty smashed up.
I would have been stood on that spot less than 30 seconds later.
Maybe he was working for the record company ?
