I used to pull up alongside the driver at traffic lights and do the "put the phone down" mime. If that didn't work, I'd up the revs:-
3000rpm. They just started talking louder or shouting.
6000rpm. Window closes, phone conversation continues.
9000rpm. Finger in ear, shouting into the phone.
12000rpm. They hang up as conversation is impossible.
Still had another 4500rpm in the bank too. Gotta love earplugs.
Another time I came up next to a car with a twonk on the phone, window open, so I beeped my horn. It startled him so much he dropped the phone out of the window. Oh how I sniggered as it smashed on the ground. He was just starting to get out of the car to retreive it (and probably to confront me) when he must have realised it isn't very clever to start a fight with someone dressed from top to toe in body armour and wearing thick gloves and a full face helmet.
