In the last week or so I have reported two commercial vehicle drivers to their employers for using their handsets whilst driving HGVs.
I have got to the stage now where I can't see any other way but for us to apply pressure directly to employers to pressure drivers not to do this. I don't think involving the police is called for unless a driver is spoken to and responds aggressively.
I know I look like a right ffing busybody. But it makes my blood boil to see this happening every single day out there on the roads. Who's gonna tell my four year old son that his daddy's dead cos a delivery driver taking Chicken Kievs of National Importance to Wetherspoons decided to call his bit on the side whilst driving? Not the ffing driver.
If we all did this every time we saw a driver and got the reggo, maybe they'd stop doing this. I am asking you to do the same if you're a nosy sod like me.
