I have a sprint at home and it has one horizontal and one vertical drop (or rather a horizontal with a bit undrilled so no movement). Its quite odd.

I had one with the same. They can be filed out for a bit more adjustment. There's a picture on here somewhere.

Yeah I considered drilling it but I've got other bikes I can use. I had it set up for gears when I did use it.

Its gonna live out its retirement in a shed from now on I think. I'd sell it but I snapped the gear hanger off.

what stem is that? Have you got a close up of it?

pertjsw- its a 'custom' comes on the stock record sprints- not gonna split the set up though as is too good condition, i am sure some raleigh fiend will love it.
