I hope they lose in any shirt. I remember when they wore that gray shirt and were something like 7-1 down to Southampton at half time. They changes the shirt but it didn't help much.

because, unfortunately, united started it. after getting players handed back to them(robson) in a shitter state than when they left, the fans started thinking fuck it. liverpool also do it. there's a lot of fucking dickheads that follow england, not just the racist variety but the moronic "boo players from teams you hate" (i think barnes got this, beckham certainly got it). because of that, why would you want to be a united fan/liverpool fan and listen to the abuse that's meted out to YOUR players by people who see them through the press and once every couple of months. for a team that routinely underperforms and appears not to know it's arse from it's elbow?

then there's the fact you have to go to a shit stadium (wembley), pay through the arse, be surrounded by twats, watch shit football, THAT brass band or THAT twat with the drum, the INGERLAND, "i'd rather be a paki than a turk", "no surrender to the IRA".

some people are just haters.... for example Mikec spitting the dummy cause hodgson saying not to expect to much from fulham, all he did was take the pressure off his team which was pretty smart.

Back on point club before country certainly, but if England are playing football, rugby whatever I enjoy them doing well and support them.
