New pug project

    just bought an old pug off ebay as a project to convert to fixed gear

    the more i read up on it the more i think peugeot could have been a mistake, how do i know if its french threaded ro english and how much hassle isit gonna be if its french

  • From the decals I have it down as being made between 1984-1988 and the stamp on the BB shell tells me (I think) that it was made in February 1987, therefore almost certainly it would be English threaded.

    finished it last night cant wait to get out on it now. i did buy a brake but i didnt check to see if it fitted untill last night and it didnt (the bit that goes through the forks was too short) so its brakeless for now
