as a rule of thumb orange/yellow are old ie approx 2001, white are the newer ones, although the discs had white.

I did have a pair of World Champ badged ones, alleged to be once upon a time Rob Hayles ones, and they were prior to yellow/orange stickers, but they were not in good nick at all- small cracks, braking surface dings etc

Some wheels wear well, some don't......carbon ones can be repaired, although it genrally shows as the weave isn't the same as the rest where the repair is- and I have Corima 4 spokes like that, still work just the same though.

I had a pair of the orange and yellow.. The rear had an odd Shimano freehub.
