I have had a search but nothing came up. I am about to sell my old langster to a friend but noticed yesterday that the steel inserts on the aluminium dropouts are completely bent and missing their screws. i changed my rear innertube and they both fell off. I only got them back on by clinching them in place with the buts.
The fact that the steel has bent and gone thin with the pressure of the nuts tells me that I shouldn't just throw them away and bolt straight to the weaker aluminium.
Has anyone got any suggestions about buying or making new ones? I can't find them for sale anywhere. I'm sure it would be easy enough to make some but it's getting hold of the tools.
