Wow, thanks all. Don't make me reconsider. I love this bike to death and it took some heart-wrenching, tear-filled nights to decide on letting it go. I need a touring bike (Bob Jackson...can't wait) and just move too often to drag more than two bikes with me.
I got an offer from someone on a US forum for $850 which translates neatly to 600 pounds, but I'm going to consider him at the back of the queue since I'd rather not ship a bike that far.

^^^ bang on trend for autumn / Winter 2009.
Thats nice. What was that 90s roadbike Hilary was selling for £400-450 recently? this probably pisses on that for value. -

Hello,
Yes, nice one you're selling bexley
I know one much taller than this one, that was raced by a TVM pro team member. Full DA7400.
Drop me a line if you want to be put through.
Btw Bexley, by the pics I can judge one of his previous owners (the guy you got it from?) was someone from Zaandam.

Very interesting.
I love how nice bikes make their way around.

! CRIME ALERT !
Offense: Stealing my bike from my garage, you motherfucker!
Victims: 1993 Gazelle with Campagnolo Record & Chorus parts
My wallet. My heart.
Suspect: some Parisian sleaze.
Prescribed punishment: Castration by fixed cog.
If you spot the victim being ridden in your neighborhood, proceed with caution but "kneecap first, questions later".

what? how did this happen?
-
• #18
Fuck. Fortunately it should be quite easy to spot.

It was stolen from my garage, where only about ten people in the building have cars. It was locked with a Kryptonite U-lock too. I was told Paris has good bike thieves, but this was in all likelihood done by someone from the building who may've known that I was out of town for a few days.
Thanks all for keeping an eye out on eBay and the like. The frame should be easy to spot, and if you spot a pair of Campy Deltas from a seller in France, let me know.

I'll keep an eye out for it in Paris. Drop me a PM if you want to ride sometime.
-
• #21
so was it stolen after you sold it, but before it was collected?
-
• #22
Yep. Refund was issued for the $100 deposit.
RLB, for sure. Gotta build up my next frame first. Bob Jackson. Otherwise I'll be putting around on a Velib.

That is bad news
Will keep my eye out for a TVM with Chorus/Record, but I do not expect it turns up here
Personally I would not leave my bike at an open place, but if I had to, I would only use a proper lock by König/Cyclops

It was in my garage :(.
It had my fucking Kryptonite (non-biccable) on there too. And I had just put the saddle back on. Ugh. At least they didn't take the Raceblades sitting next to the bike. IUESHF(&*HG#*(#H@(@(F*#H
SOLD
I'm adding this a little early since I can't ship it for another month, but here it is. I'm in Paris now so this will be shipped from here. The cost should be well under £100 (it was 70 from the Netherlands to France).
This was a bike of TVM Bison Gazelle, a Dutch team in the tour.
Frame
Components
Cranks: Campagnolo Chorus double, 52-42
Freewheel: Campagnolo 7-speed

Rear derailleur: Campagnolo Chorus

For sale as a complete build. I'll only part it out if there's enough people interested in components. Saddle and pedals not included. By the way, you could sell the Campagnolo Delta brakes to make back almost 200 quid.
