I see, those shimano BBs can be annoying, they slip a lot and the splines are quite easy to damage too. What I would say is get someone else to push in the BB tool and your tool with a rag or something, so it doesn't slip, then put a big (31.8mm?) seatpost over the top of your tool for more leverage and try that.
