I'm tryinng to remove a very stubborn drive side bottom bracket* and it would be much easier if the freaking tool wasn't 20 times the depth of the teeth in the BB itself. It's a Shimano style BB and the tool keeps slipping out.
I can't get good purchase on the tool and wanted to bolt the tool to the bottom bracket spindle to hold the damn thing in place.
What side bolts do I need? 6mm? 7mm? 8mm?
I couldn't find anything on Sheldon, and only found this thread on the site.
I hate to ask but I flaked on taking the actual bolt with me into work so I could ask at the local ironmongers.
Ta.
- Yes, I'm turning it the correct way, but thanks for checking
