GA2G, it would certainly never have occurred to me to associate you with forum disagreements--I like your lists a lot and think they're a very valuable contribution. I keep thinking how difficult they must be to keep up, though!

Yeah, even I have this problem. I've only got a couple of people on ignore and I find myself noticing their posts more because of the thin band saying that they're on ignore... or because someone quotes them and I wonder how I missed it.

Same here. I'd prefer an ignore function that really obliterated it but I guess that's not possible. Never mind, not one of life's most gripping problems. :)

Well thanks Velocio for coupling just my name to Paul Michel's in the 'derailing' aspect: Paul Michel's first post was number 47; mine was 167 and almost all the ones between were about PM not about the OP. By the time I got home from work the thread had already been ruined by Paul Michel, or more accurately, by the responses to his comments.

Yeah, sorry again VB for derailing and denigrating what was originally a really positive thread, I shouldn't have fed the troll, and Will, there were many things I typed but didn't post, so I'm taking some of the blame off you!

Just for the record GA2G, I'm with greasy - you've had plenty of ribbing about your lists but only as part of the forum in-joking.. the fact is a lot of people have come to respect you for them. We were talking about it last week at one of the drinks and saying what a brilliant job you've done of them and how you've carved yourself a niche on the forum doing them. Props I say.
