reading the 'whats your top speed' thread i see quite a few responses along the lines of top speed being irrelevant, its the average that counts so i thought this was worth its own thread. whats your average, over what distance, and in or out of town? my average on my 7 mile commute, reasonably flat but with 1 steep bugger of a hill in the middle, is around 12.8mph on 34/15 gearing. thats a (pretty dissapointing!) average cadence of abont 85rpm i think. what is anyone elses?
