  • i hate it when people do that.

  • It's a '08 Schwinn Madison, but with langster forks. I'm a bit gutted I couldn't get the original forks but it looks alright I guess.

About the colour; when choosing a grey at a powder coaters you have about 20 different shades of grey to choose from.

  • those forks look good with the hed. need's to be straight blade and quite thick imo. wouldn't change them unless the ride is harsh.

  • The original forks go to more of a point towards the hub which I thought suited the frame more, but like you said no need to change them, they ride nicely.

    Here's another photo.

  • Nice build Ollie

  • its a bit ironic having a steel frame with an alu fork, but the bike looks great

  • Paint/spray up those allu sidewalls though, get them all black

  • When the alu fork snaps (and I have been been discharged from hospital) I'll prob change the it for a steel. ;)

  • i forgot to say.... nice ride dude.

it reminds me of Nicks Plug.

  • Nice build Ollie

Thanks. Was thinking about trying to get the tri spoke painted white.

Nice. Coat of primer first then a can of gloss spray should do it, then maybe lacquer it

  • nice bike oli, nice saddle

  • Rami Barak?

as in rami who went to northbridge house?

  • Nice bike, just needs some double straps and you're golden, I wouldn't change another thing on it.

  • Yeh Gus it is.
    He doesnt know you though.

  • My beloved Dawes. Nothing fancy about it and that's why I love it. The whole thing cost less than an Aerospoke.

Here's another Dawes that my girlfriend rides now.

    And here's me.

If there's anybody on here from Belfast, add me on MSN using twocrazymonkies AT hotmail DOT com.

  • My beloved Dawes.

I love it. The kind of bike I stop and look at in the street.

Here's another Dawes that my girlfriend rides now.

Probably the heaviest looking tall bike I've ever seen.
