Having an opinion does not equate to trolling. i don't care what star studded resumes they have, it doesnt stop the idea being pretentious and indicative of the perversion, in London especially, of every sub culture having a giangantic capitalist machine meddling with it.
Clearly, then, a number of people here are exactly the style conscious people I identified.
But slagging something off, directly after a number of people have said that they are friends of the designers is not just having an opinion - it's being a thoughtless, tactless knob.
The 'gigantic capitalist machine' is, in this case, as in many others, giving a massive break and support to a young start-up company. Topshop has not started selling 'campogoglio' cycle caps, they aren't just ripping something off - they are supporting something new.
And FFS - how do you think fashion and culture work? Small, underground, 'street' movements grow bigger and get appropriated into the mainstream, leading to more divergence at the bottom. Music, fashion, art - all the same.
