Spotted a group of 3-4 fixters hanging out by the corner where Coldharbour Lane hits Denmark Hill as Aleksi and myself rode home from Souths..
I wanted to shout do a skid but realised the irony would probably just confuse the static people I was riding past..

Michael on a black Raleigh conversion riding up Archway Road. Had a nice, albeit brief chat, not long enough for me to ask his opinion of Jade Goody unfortunately. Anyone on here?

Oh, and someone on a new looking maroon charge, green deep section rims, going along Deptford Church street, then Brookmill road with a bunch of flowers in his left hand, and a white 14 Bike Co hoody on, mothering Sunday just past.

I think that's my first proper spot in ages...and definitely the first time I've been described as a gentleman on here! Good to see you....

Yes that was a pleasure! Yo where looking seriously dapper! Gent about town.
Sorry I did not stop to chat, I could not hear much anyway in the wind.
Also no spot but I hear Dammit yelling at me but could not see him, sounded like it was from up on a balcony.

Some dude on a white frame trying to, what, push in, get yourself killed? up Farringdon Road last night. WTF you were doing is a puzzle to me, apart from riding like a prize prat. There's only room for one bike up the side of a single lane of traffic, dude, but if you're in that much of a rush to get squashed, leave me out of it. Tit.

Brett on East Dulwich Grove at about 8 a.m. this morning. The purple bike is very distinctive. You looked about as awake as I did, i.e. not very.

about 8.30 this morning, dude on a white frame, BMX style risers and black arrospok yp front. (+ back pack and white helmet) on london Road/ waterloo road heading towards the station, (then past the Imax and onto the bride?). You seemed to be having fun.
Can I ask what ratio/ cogs you have that allow you to sit down skid like that?

A few peeps riding through Pecknarm and Canceryell this morning.
An Orlowski that looked pretty smart, a green Langster with a black Rolls, others that I can't remember and.... a roadie who insisted on racing me, you've got gears and I'm spinning 42x19, HTFU!
Was good fun on Queens Road though.

And big thanks to Roman at Velorution for sorting me out with a new chainring and lending me tools. Evans don't stock Campagnolo; the result of massive share buying by Hippy so I am told.
I'm sending them to Japan for smelting.
They will be used as zips in Hello Kitty pencil cases since anything else would stress the Campagfailo metal too much. -
