Don't you get the magic T price?
We're building one up with record for a rather rich dude who wants one as a training bike, to go with his Specialized Tarmac, full D-Ace, Mavic carbone (i think) wheels with a cyclops rear hub...

£184 at wiggle (with 10%)
£195 at parker
£212 at dotbikenot a bad price for Halfords then, but I wouldn't buy it as you can get a Dolan precursa for around £240 including a decent fork and headset. Or a Nelson with fork and headset for £225

Yeah but it's a bit different isn't it, and as for the Dolan, they should release one called a Clit, coz every C**ts got one. looked at other 2 but figured would try this one for size, if it turns out shit then ah well, live and learn eh ;)

The angle of the whole frame is off as it's sat on it's chainstays.... They'd level up when it was on it's wheels.
Wouldn't surprise me if this frame was made in the same far-eastern factory as the dolans. Looks like it's got the same downtube and dropouts.

I don't think they're shit. word is they do the job on the track.

the Tifosi Pista gets a mention in Cycling Weekly... but doesn't really come to much of a conclusion.

I'm sorry, are you calling me 'the evil one'?

No idea, I was just making the point that Dolans are made in a far eastern factory, and seem to share quite a few components with this frame.

Bernhard - i am offended - and now may you feel the wrath of THE UNCLEAN SPIRIT - THE TEMPTOR...Haha, no, that was just comic timing (or not) I was replying to the comment above yours about which far eastern factory the tifosi was made in.

Wouldn't surprise me if this frame was made in the same far-eastern factory as the dolans. Looks like it's got the same downtube and dropouts. What I'm thinking is that they'll more than level up using a conventional track fork... I am aware that the frame is standing on the stays.
I mulled over getting a new frame for ages and decided I liked the geometry of track frames so had a look around, immediately I found Leader bikes, nice, not bad priced but never reply to questions so screw em. Then, quite by chance I was looking on the system at work and found that we only charge £190 for the tifosi frame.
An instant saving of at least a tenner and we offer 10% discount to cycle clubs so final price £171!!!!
If you're interested pop into your local Bikehut (shhhh your inner voice, yes we're a subsiduary of Halfords but we're better than them!!!) and place your order, mine will be on display at the Twickenham shop soon if you wanna have a look first as it'll be a while before it's complete ;)
