A couple friends of mine, I caught up with them later that day and the rider was fine. Front rim was very out of true, however. The driver slipped the rider some cash to keep quiet, apparently.

I'll take responsibility for that...aha, thanks buddy, I was wondering how long I could comute before I was inevitably "spotted." :p The frame is indeed a Cinelli, but instead a Vigorelli.

  • Saw a blue charge plug with bullhorns near kingsdown parade at around 9.30 this morning.
couldnt get a good look at the rider, bike and rider on pavement

  • Didn't see the little fuckers who smashed me in the face and took my phone on the way back from the Pipe & Slippers on Friday night. They didn't take my ipod or my wallet though, bloody amateurs, so the joke's on them! HA HA! Ha. Ho.

  • Aaand I saw a girly on fixed, dunno what, I was driving a large garishly coloured vitamin water van, down by the waterfront. Wicked and bad.

  • Same chap on silver charge overtook me on Sunday night as I died in the saddle after park street with a heavy bag and 105 miles in the legs from Saturday.

  • Got a nod and a smile from a chap who was with his light blue bike inside the hairdressers on Zetland Road as I headed past yesterday afternoon! Plus saw a couple of young guns riding up Redland Road later on, not sure if they were fixed or not but one looked like a mountain bike conversion and the other was black with purple rims! Nice!

  • nice one on the milage front G, fixed or gears?

  • Gears thankfully - over 2000m of climbing involved. It's going to take a good deal more riding before I can do that kind of ride fixed. That said I'm aiming to do the Exmouth Exodus on fixed - www.exmouthexodus.co.uk

  • spotted some dude at around 7.20 in broadmead by the sail thing walking possibly a charge plug or something not sure. but what I AM sure of, is that he weas wearing a stupid yellow hat with flaps on it.
