I have again the unpleasant duty to notify of a rider down. I know it through a friend of a flatmate of the victim, hence little detail. Rider down yesterday on Harrow road, now in St Mary's with 'a broken neck (C2)'. The guy will live --almost surely saved by his helmet -- but I do not know the extent of the damage. I understand some permanent damage is expected but --fingers crossed-- no paralysis.
