I've got a nice wheelset for sale: Dura Ace High Flange 7600 hubs, single sided fixed, laced 28 hole front and rear to silver, non machined Aerohead clincher rims. Great light weight wheelset for summer riding or track use.

The good news: rims are brand new and never been ridden, the hubs are in great nick and very smooth, I've overhauled one hub completely and could do the other before you buy, DB spokes front and back.

The bad news: I've laced them but not brought them fully up to tension so there's a bit of work to do, I need to double check that the spoke lengths are correct on the back so there might be more work to do on that, there's a crack in the plastic bit on one side of the rear hub (you can see it in the photo), but you can't see it when the sprocket is on.

    Looking for £150 for these.

  • If the rear is 110 dibs!

  • Rear is 120 I'm afraid. Could always source a 110 axle though

  • how used are the hubs?

  • Track use only when I bought them, I used them for a few months on the road over the summer and rebuilt them to new rims. Been sitting in my kitchen ever since. They spin freely and the one I overhauled had lovely shiny cups and cones with no pitting and minimal wear.

  • Forgot to say, I live in Brixton and anyone who's interested is welcome to come and have a look and spin the wheels!

  • Holy shit they are nice wheels for a good price! Don't let me, don't let me!

Will these take a freewheel cog and can they be used in 126 spacing with some whatever-you-call-'ems?

  • jen, yes they will take a free wheel. and you can squeeze the frame in to fit these.

  • Like he said - yes and yes. The rims aren't machined for brakes (which you'll need for singlespeed), but if you use brakes on the rims then they'll wear through the anodising pretty quickly and will work fine.

  • dibs providing elguapo approves - he knows more about this than me. Can pickup, cash in hand should these prove to be what I need.

  • sorry jen, totally forgot they have no braking surface.....unless you wanna be jen shred

  • i'll true them if you want

  • releasing them back into the wild.

  • If they are still about at the end of the month (pay day) i'll have them.

  • Ok fella. There's a little queue forming and I'll add you to it. I'll post on the thread if they're sold.

  • Wheels are now sold. Thanks for the interest guys.
