Nope, it's a terrible generalisation based on your experience (which is based on the kinda of threads you've started and exposed yourself to).
Quantcast think this is the demographic (I have no idea about the numbers on the right as they don't appear to correlate to any stat I have):
I doubt that's true either, but at least it's based on some measure that has been extrapolated and overlaid onto the people using the site.
Anyway, who gives a fuck?
