Never touched? Drops look used.
What i mean by never touched is that no body has tried to restore it etc etc etc blah blah blah and yes it has been stored away until i found it in a guys garage! Try and buy a frame like this now! It will cost you a small fortune!

Stripped Langster, look pretty great.

forks have been drilled too.
And so what? Its totally original! Made in 1968! Race in 1969 by an amazing junior and probably stored not much after! The fork drilling doesn't detract that this is still an amazing find! Have you ever found anything this stunning at your local car boot?

never touched by you...
Ha ha ha ha! I fucking own it! Got it from a car boot sale in Derby the birth place of Mercian!

Stripped Langster, look pretty great compared to any of the previous colour schemes, especially the brown one.

JD steady on, when you said never been used, we simply read it as 'never even been ridden let alone touched", the fact that the fork is drilled usually incidated that the bike has been used on the road, that if it originally wasn't drilled in the first place.

Never said it aint been used!
I said hasn't been touched! As in restored or fucked around with i.e modified or changed in some why that it wasn't intended! Etc etc etc etc! Blah blah blah blah!

It's a bare frame!
And at the untouched owner. I do piss golden Rossintrackframes anytime...so doesn't matter if it's a small fortune or just o pot dairy milk...everything is relative...yeah and it is drilled anyway thats not relative ;)

And what exactly is your point? I took off the cranks etc to clean it. What the fuck is your problem with the forks been drilled?

i always thought that mercian just used standard forks. i don't think i've seen an old mercian with non-drilled forks.
oh and lay off, everyone. it's a nice frame and you know it is.
