  • Ouch - £24

Not so much of an ouch when the weight is a third less. My 35c are only 450g whereas a wire one is nearer to 700g. £10 well spent in my opinion.

  • meh

  • arghhh i've read this whole thread through and cant find where i can buy one in Landan?

im too impatient to order off wiggle.

  • wiggle it! you'll have it by friday

  • i think thats probs the best idea, i skidded through my shwalbe blizzard last night and i had to put an old gator skin on (with the bottom layer showing). must ride conservatively

  • Not sure if chain reaction have them but I ordered something from them last Wednesday 1pm and it arrived then next day at 9am. No idea how their deliveries are always so quick.

  • im too impatient to order off wiggle.

mate, you do realise the irony when you spend a lots of time looking for shop that stock them, whether in less than half that time, the order would've arrived at your doorstep?

  • nah it takes about 20 minutes tops to look up plenty of shops numbers on the internet, call them and ask. this is the 21's century you can find out anything from your sofa

  • Ah, now that I can't do.

  • you should get wireless then mate ;)

  • wiggle it! you'll have it by friday
if you order b4 lunch you can get them next day, even with free deliv ;)

  • ordered it tuesday 1am arrived today 9am

  • they are easy to put on just, make sure the tube is pushed up into the tyre so doesn't catch on the edge when you put the last bit of tyre on. FAIL!

+1 this thread has got me well excited for my daily riding

  • dislike this tire . . .
PSI too low and slow . . .

Agree, for the road they are a bit slow and heavy (and that's a folding one, the wire bead must be even worse)
They are great for my riding of 30% road/70% off road though as they don't seem to puncture and come in nice big sizes and better on the road sections than something like a cross tyre.

then pump the tyres up! pump it to 100 or 120psi and you'll be fine, at that psi it felt like a 23c.

  • im scared it might pop . . . im a pussy

  • Jesus mate, unless you fucked up installing the tyres as much as I did, it won't pop, seriously, if someone can pump it up to 120psi no problem, so can you.

  • jus done 100 lol . . .
    ill see 2moro . . .
i bet if i jump off a curb BANGGGGGGGG

  • don't worry, you're not riding on inner tube.

  • Mine are at 120ish, no problems so far, I've ended up on the red already after maybe a month or so, but i think thats due to them being super fun to skid on.

  • has to pump it up today . . .
    today ride on them was a joke . . . fold up bikes overtakin . . .
couldnt even skid and fuckin hit back of a car when they fucking turn in . . .
