Fuck - you didn't even mention that Steve Reich is playing a new piece too, with Bang On A Can. That's a serious bit of programming.

Until I looked at that page I'd never heard of Steve Reich TBH, still, booked a ticket so I'll see him and Kraftwerk in July.

Zaha Hadid.
This gig sounds amazing. Might have to break my vow and actually go to Madchester (kidding mancs, just never been)
Steve Reich went a bit wonky in his later work. Come to think of it so did Kraftwerk. But I have to say they way they constantly rework their classic tunes is quite ... artful. When they played The Model (a fairly weak tune originally) at that Bronxton gig it sounded like the best dub bass line ever... I think the quality of the system helped. And the viuals were bloomin ACE!

Best bit for me was when they did Robots though - when the curtain went back after a brief interval to reveal the robots, the place went bananas!
Got a video clip somewhere, will try and post it up… -

no kraftwerk fans then?
Playing the velodrome on July 2nd. Cheap enough if you're a FT student too,
