these look awesome, had an ortlieb and it was just too big and not enough internal pockets, this is a happy compromise. And looks good in black for £40. If i get back pains this is where i'm heading.

These only have 2 mesh pockets one front, one back. Its basically one vast internal space. I must confess I nicked the padded pouch from my work laptop bag which fits inside just right and is perfect for my Kryptonite mini d ring and cable.

i think the dull inner tube black is better than carbon, and cheaper. i think i might get one in january.

Yep, good point on the backpack - i like the dull one too... not seeing the advantage in the carbon one.

just to let you know that last time I ordered stuff from chrome, about a year ago, got stung with customs charges...

how badly, and what did you order?

if you are not lucky then you pay vat and customs charges and a royal mail handling fee of £8. On $100 it is likely to be £20 plus whatever delivery they charge.

They charge $60 shipping to the UK. Which seems very, very high.

got to say I think their stuff right now is overpriced, especially now the pound against the dollar is so poor.
But the chrome shins I've got are actually pretty cool despite the legs being just abit flared...

$99 works out currently at £67 so it might not be too bad, it only gets bad if you get stung on the way through to us.
