a curly headed hipster on a brakeless chrome pista with bullhorns, wearing a checked shirt zooming past me as I was walking back from lunch round St Katharines dock way, you narrowly avoided being hit by a white van that was doing a 3 point turn, then continued off on your merry way riding no hands.
Ha ha that was me. Yes that van was a bit close...

I spotted a load of fixengers that I have never met on the way in today- the number of cyclists has shot up with the sun, and despite being repeatedly boxed in by the Fluoro crowd I have to say I rode in with a big smile this morning, enjoying the sunshine as I accelerated glacially.

the front chub hubs are just normal low flange size though.... it's only the rear that's mahoosive.

VeeVee, blinding me with that search lamp on your handlebars, going up bishopsgate towards the rollers.... i shouted, but was going too fast to stop.
hello...... (i don't know if you've heard, but apparently your husband is 75% gay)Sorry! I was a little stressed after riding through all the pot holes and drains of Borough High Street and not in the mood to play with agressive traffic.
Only 75%? :PSkully spotted me later on and rescued me from map searching.

Bless.
Skully in Cavendish Cycles at lunchtime.
Jacqui on Shaftesbury/Bloomsbury Way at hometime.
Object, minutes later on Oxford Street. (Actually, it may have been seconds later - surely it doesn't take that long to get from Bloomsbury Way to Oxford Street?)
And I've started spotting Will again. Phew. For a while I worried he'd faded away to nothing.
