mark said that they've just build a football pitch with nets at west jesmond in this courtyard, i think the surface is sort of rubber or somthing like you get in playgrounds. We should definatly check this out, i dont think it gets any where near as busy as gosforth park;

It's basically at the end of my road. Used to be basketball courts but last time I checked it out for polo they'd covered it in benches and plant pots. I'll go check it out tonight

So I went and had a look. It's not finished yet and was fenced off + no light although looks like they may add some. Could well be brilliant - I think it's got raised edges but was hard to tell. We could do with one we can book (and tell them we're playing football naturally).

Anyway - next Tuesday 1830 meet for everyone somewhere tbc - prob either Gosforth or Exhibition Park. Clocks change a week on sat apparently

i made mine yesterday, wooden pole though not sure if its going to be a bit heavy, soon find out though. cant wait to look like popeye
