Cheap needs to be next to nothing.
May be interested in the no name £10 ones if you've got pix and can find out about the ring please. Are they just old road cranks with 2 rings?

old single speed cranks. i'll have a more detailed look tonight - you can have them for a fiver (or some beer will be fine) as better to see them used.

That would be really great mate. I'll PM about meeting up.

bump.
Still looking and have upped my budget to £30.
Unfortunately the ones I got from Texas very generously have arms that are bit short for my liking.

Hey, I'm pretty new to all this so I hope this link works. These are a budget set up but brand new and come with a BB and 48t chainring. Nice old school look in my opinion too. Hope it helps.
Sugino Maxy + BB £40 with postage 3rd set down on page. -

Good call - just wondered if it was possible that some cheaper ones were available.

Which BB do you have?
I've got a UN54 Shimano 107mm. the cranks I just got were pressing on the BB cup.
The ones I have on it are really nice old ones. Fitted chainring, look like cottered but are square-tapered. Problem is that they now have a cm of play/give when stationary. It takes a bit of pressure, but the crank arm does move about a cm before the chainring kicks in.
Kind of putting me off fixed one-piece cranks.

Can provide a good crank within budget but it requires an ISO BB spindle.
Like the budgie. And ideally with 47/48 or 49t chainring if possible.
Budget of £30.
