What's the pros of threadless valves? Surely the threaded one are easier too fit, as you secure the valve onto the rim?
A decent seal between valve and pump.
Valve lockrings are shit. I've seen too many people overtighten them and fuck up tubes, and they've also got a nasty habit of working loose and rattling around.
You don't need to 'secure' a valve when fitting a tube, unless maybe you're learning disabled or something (I worked with learning disabled people, and some of that fiddly symmetrical stuff does their heads in).
