I went there once for a nice quiet can of red stripe but they kept doing performance art all over the place, it was a bit distracting.

You should be ashamed of yourself for being so careless as to drink Red Stripe in such a place. How could it possibly be interpreted as anything other than performance art? No wonder it was infectious and people started to compete against you.
