Hillbilly & crew in vic park pulling tricks yesterday arvo. I was on the fixie novice on the purple machine practising 'ahem' attempting trackstands. Cheers to the friendly fella in the green beanie and the nice young lady on the cool pink bike for the tips.
Hello! That was me on the little pink number... I was road testing the new whip. Very nice to meet you too, you'll have them track stands down in no time.

It's 'HAEL'....and yes he's on here...and that bike is the most hideous pile of junk ever!
There isn't a part on it that doesn't creak, squeak, and flex all over the place!
But it'll be nice when he replaces all the parts..for example, the cracked headset :)I actually feared for my life just riding it down my hallway!
I saw it on the Memorial ride, I guess I'm probably right in thinking that it's not straight either. The rear wheel appears to be about 10 degrees off vertical suggestign the frame has been twisted somehow...

I'll bet that makes for some wicked cornering

Have you got a beard now?
If not, some ginger-bearded fixenger on a light blue Peugeot ruined my gentle ride in today.. just so you know for the future Uxbridge/Bayswater roads.. they're mine. You will never win. :)
Nope, no beard, just fledgling dreads - but I know that peugeot guy, chatted with him a few times, think his name is John. He sets a pretty good pace ;)
The Fairweathers have definitely returned to Uxbridge Rd, I just love the enthusiasm some 'em have.
That's funny... I thought Uxbridge/Bayswater was mine?

Walked to work today, totally saw a courier looking dude with a gorgeous metallic purple
cockgeared Colnago. -
• #12234
Spotted: a couple, coming to the end of Commercial Street, sensibly ignoring the pointless lights and turning into Whitechapel Road where I overtook them again. He was riding a metallic sky blue conversion (I think - I'd make a rubbish detective) while she was on a ladies'-model white Raleigh and had very thick and lustrous dark hair.

Spotted Nhatt, too, at the junction of Cambridge Heath Road and Hackney Road with a cargo bike full of cookies and a long cookie tour ahead of her. Go Nhatt!

Nhatt gets spotted often enough (combination of well-known courier, Radio 4, female and now cargo bike has to be unbeatable) that I'm starting to sense that a google maps mashup can't be far off.

In this case, we had actually arranged to meet up there for cookie handover. ;)

A car chase on Balham High Road! Yeeehaaaaa! A shiny 'pensive Merc overtook me and tried to disappear into the sunset unfortunately the traffic wouldn't let it so it tried to behave like a motorbike. I was happy it was ahead of me. A few seconds later police sirens... That was fun.
A lot of very polite peds too , I got a "I'm sorry I was my fault" and a few "oooops" with big smiles.
