Bike porn

I have to agree, once you have spent a few months with renal cancer or dealing with parents who have had strokes it seems a bad waste of good energy for people get themselves erect about someone else's bicycle, regardless of what colour scheme, how much money, what saddle angle, handle bar height or spoke count they are/are not running.

I must have had some of my biggest arguments on this site with people incandescent with indignation because they have seen someone riding a bike with a build that fails (or exceeds) their own sensibilities/morals.

It's just bikes, I love it that this bloke has stuck an expensive track wheel on his street bike, he seems to be into bikes, not such a bad place to be if you can stick the cloud of internet hatred.

Ah, but this is the bike porn thread, where else in the world can we put accross our dislike for someone's bike?

There's nothing wrong with what he has done, but it's like someone with a 1.0 Corsa buying £5,000 race wheels...

He could have got a very nice front wheel for a lot less, and upgraded the running gear and back wheel and had a better quality bike. But instead he chose to be vein, and for that he is opening himself up to opinions on how the bike looks.

Sorry to hear about your kidneys though.
