  • Making this politically acceptable - with Nikes and adidias, BK's etc, theres a long history of trainers and designs, innovations and culture - they pretty much pioneered trainers and trainer wear and others followed suit.

You can wear whatever trainer you like, but for the most who are into trainers, Dunlops, Golas, Lacoste etc aren't interesting as they pretty jumped on the bandwagon over the past few years of 'cool vintage' trainers, and have gathered momentum. Its the same thing as coming on here and trying to flash your Unipack while others are discussing lugs, English frames and Phil hubs.

Its like how all clubs and bars allow you to wear trainers now whereas I can remember there being a 'dress-code - shoes and no t shirts' in bars and clubs.'

  • DVS... because i am worth it

    Nice choice and good taste

  • i need these in my life

adidas originals rod laver weave £24.99

  • Breakin' these bad boys out for the next 48 hours :D

  • people say there trainer collectors and they have boxes of re issues.

Not everyone has re-issues - I've got sneaks over 15yrs old, box fresh

  • me too, but most of the pics are re issues, bar a few footscapes.they re issued them too.
i sold most of my original sneakers before they re issued them, i've few friends who work for nike, so got the heads up.vandals supremes in tk maxx, you just can't wear the real ones after that.

still got a couple of pairs of aj1's, some very very early vans, boxed and comme des garcons and undercover vans etc.

pop culture as just got too popular

  • Pumas rule. I have about 20 pairs.
Nikes are too dam big and garish for me.
    My favourites are:
    Mostros

    And Speed Cats

When I got my first pair of Mostros I had to search every damn shoe store - I went into one and they asked "what sport are they for?" I replied "Sport? They're for posing!"
