Found Battered but nice frame. Anyone?

Nice lugged classic Bianchi frame. Unfortunately bent.
Any one know anyone who's lost something like this ?

frame was dumped on the street
what should i do with it ?
report it to police
or strip it ?

I saw that frame by Mitchison when i was walking my dog. Was going to go back and grab it and post up here too. Looks like you beat me to it.

no not really might be worth setting up

If no one claims it , Are you going make a project out of it? Can it be saved?

nah, badly bent sadly beautiful 80's top of the range green bianchi chromed forks and rear stays columbus tubing embossed with bianchi logo
few bits worth salvaging off there though

bent frames are the new aerospokes

might put some crappy bits on it and see if it'll ride
the rear stays bent one way might make up for the bend of the front forks the other way
might ride perfectly !

might well try and recover the campy drops ?
heat and remove ? how easy / worth it is that ?

can you remove the lugs and make a new frame with them?

give it to ted at FGL. he could swap the tube or salvage the other bits.

if the tubes aren't too bent i guess they could just be pulled apart and re - designed
