It's no longer built, that's true.
it rides like a very good quality steel track bike, it's tight, light and responsive.
I would say though, that it wouldn't be a wise choice for longer distance road riding, although there's no reason why you couldn't use it on the road, maybe with a road fork, it's at home on the track.
