The bb is actually a cheapy rpm, mine was knackered in about 6 months! good bet to replace it with a UN54 though, has lasted well this winter - in my experience there ain't nothing you can do to pimp a skyline, although it's a proper good workhorse for day-to-day use.
Remember talking to the Genesis rep not so long ago, he said a longer bb was chosen (over the standard 103 sugino) to take into account the wider clearances needed for mudguards the Skyline. I think its either a 110 or 113, somthing like that.
