With any luck there should be a spoke card for everybody who enters.
The start line will be the top floor of a multistorey car park.
There are ten checkpoints. If you miss a checkpoint you're disqualified.
There's a 90 minute time limit. If you don't get back before the time limit you're disqualified.
From start to finish, depending on which checkpoint you start with and whether you go clockwise or anticlockwise, you should cover about eleven miles according to Google maps. The shortest route is probably a bit less than this.
I haven't actually been to any of the checkpoints, although I obviously know vaguely where most of them are. If I'm not too tired and if my finish line assistant shows up, I will join in the race just for fun. Obviously, as the organiser I am automatically disqualified, so ineligible for any prizes. You may choose to follow me to save time, but potentially I could go in the wrong direction on purpose to mess you up... it's up to you whether you take that chance or not...
The finish line will be outside a pub, there will be bands playing in part of it and it's £3 to go into that part, but you can go in the normal bar for free if you just want drinks and the pool table. If you win the race you get to see the bands for free.
