Told this story before (stop me if you know it)... WTF - Mum's partner came over to the UK 10 years ago from Nepal. Couldn't drive so she bought him a new but cheap mountain bike. He thought it was the dogs (I guess new bikes in Nepal are in short supply). Anyway, stopped at the local shop and whilst inside saw the bike being moved. Ran outside to see a local youth riding away on it. In a panic he did what everyone else would do... yep he flagged down a passing car and gave chase. Youth rode into a housing estate and out of view. So my mum's partner got out of the car, ran down an alley and saw the bike come round the corner. At this moment, the local youth was pulled from the bike and given a kick to the face. It was described to me as "nose went crack and then much blood". Bike and owner reunited...
