i got burgled once, and i caught the person selling my stuff on his ebay account.. had 2 addresses. full names of said person. i even had the guy with my stuff on his myspace account.
i immediately passed on this info to the police and dept working on my case.
and it took them 3 weeks to get a warrant and low and behold when they did both addresses were empty of my stuff and there was no sign of the guy.
although his myspace continues to be active.
police generally couldn't care less about robbery/theft.
