some extracts from a PM i sent to somebody the other day after another day of forum arguments....
"The memorial ride the other day made me realise that life is far too short...and that no matter what my opinions are on subjects that are discussed on the forum...it is just that...MY opinion...amongst 7000 others....so i decided it's really not even worth getting stressed about.
....i decided it's unfair to write somebody off simply because of one incident, or because their opinion is different to mine.
....you know as well as i do that the forum is actually second now to the people on it.
It's all about shaking that persons hand when you see them on a ride...handing them their pint when you see them in the pub...and laughing about the fun you had with them when you finally get into bed at night."
THAT is what the forum is all about to me these days.
The arguments are just an unfortunate bi-product of the fact that 7000+ individuals are all putting forward their own opinions from behind a screen.
