    Not the highest salary in the industry I'm sure, but it's a great place to work, and being a government post it is a pretty safe job.

    EDIT: With application form attached. I can't figure out how to attach the original word file, as that's the one you would fill out... drop me a PM with your email address if you want it though.

  • I am recruiting AV installation engineers

    We're incredibly busy at the moment and could really do with extra engineers.
    We hire on a contract basis so you'd need to be;

    a) Self employed
    b) Set up with an umbrella company (very easy i can help you with that)

    We currently need someone who is competent with 1st fix wiring, 2nd fix installation of back boxes and brackets, and Final fix installation of speakers, screens, equipment, racks.

    Ideally you'd be confident and experienced with all of this and even be able to manage other engineers.

    If business stays as good as it is we'll be looking to offer a Full-time salaried position within the next 6 months. This would most likely include a car/van (tbc)

    Hi Brain,

    I'm a self-employed sparky, carpenter, handyman and also a bit of an OCD nerd. So I love installing and fooling around with AV stuff of all types and am quite good at it too. I'm not interested in a proper job (already have one of those as well as the self-employed stuff) but I'm often free midweek and evenings - please send any jobs you need doing at short notice to me and I'll get back to you straight away.

    Thanks,

    John Caprani
