But you can mail order a swan from canada and it's fine... albeit expensive...
I ran over a wood pigeon once... riding through the countryside, forest either side of the country lane, pigeon flies across road about a foot above the road, trajectory coinciding perfectly with my front wheel's... crushing sound and blood on my wheels... never liked them anyway... flying rats and all...
Had a girlfriend once who liked a cockatu :-)
