it tell you the song, you need the iPod earphone to control it, that's that, at least I don't need it, luckily enough.

It's quite clever, but I agree, the fact you need to stick with the awful supplied earphones is a BIG drawback. Don't know why they couldn't have stuck with a separate inline controller like on the old iPods instead of having it built in to the headphones.

no one, but after a few weeks of owning one i realized that i will need an iphone for a very long time.

It's an iPod shuffle. For listening to music at the gym, on the bus etc. places where you just put on a playlist and listen.

Also, it's only 10g. That's good for training rides.
