Always like the Rush Hour, it look pretty great for an OTP bike, no idea how it ride thought.
Sorry to hear about your bike got stolen, insurance can be a right cunt sometime, happen to me when my bike got stolen, and the insurance that was used for it was only valid if the bike was in the house!

I'd definitely have one of them. Good looking bikes. Double butted cromo too so it should be lighter than a charge plug. Can't go wrong if you're getting it cheap.

It is nice. I'm trying to to remember, but some other manufacturer uses exactly the same frame for their bike, and sell it over here. It slips me at the moment. Will you get a discount since you're "in the trade"? You're in New York state?
Sorry about the theft. I'm surprised Ed hasn't asked, but how was it locked? Or was it unlocked because it was indoors?

well i went to a concert to see some friends, and when i left my apartment i dropped my keys inside and was locked out, so i had to use my two combo locks, but they were both either cut or picked. i was inside for about 40 minutes too. i didn't realize there was a lot attendant or i woulda locked it next to his booth. and yeah the discount i get is an Employee Purchase from Raleigh, which is quite generous, especially since theyre trying to get more people on the bikes to remake their brand. if this bike ride as well as the one way does, and they can get their higher end bikes up there, they'll be well on their way i think.
i let you know how it rides when i get it in two weeks.
right now i'm on a redline monocog 29er. it's a weird feelign after riding nthing but fixed (for any sort of distance) for years. -

nah, i live upstate. i hate NYC with passion.
my 62 Surly Steamroller was nicked a few weeks ago. turns out insurance won't cover me, because, while i live at my brothers house, i'm not covered. i didn't realize i needed renters insurance there. its all sorts of fucked... the things insurance does to not pay out.
anyway, i do have the s-works langster in the works, but i have to piece it all together now and a lot of my nicer parts were on the surly. so i need something cheap to get around on so i found i can EP a rush hour from Raleigh for very very very cheap.
it looks pretty rad, and i think i will swap out the red bits for chrome and get sme decent wheels (i just need rims i have some vintage campy pista hubs already). i like it because it's very classic and simple.
